What artists are you enjoying at the moment?

You know Brian, you could always VOLUNTEER for a free ticket! We need hollandaise, damnit!
(Or at least impart your special recipe to us so we can re-create it in your memory) :evil

Well, if it was just ticket prices that would be one thing…
On the Hollandaise front, I think once and done was the message I got from Rob. It was really good and really fun but just a bit tooooo much work for the Jailhouse Boys. It sure was good though wasnt it? We loved seeing all of the campers faces lined up that morning. :thumbsup
I saw one of the same ovens as Rob had at my local Sams not more than a couple of weeks ago. You may want to check if you have one near you. That thing worked like a charm!

Yea…I think we will put the Eggs Bene on hold until Brian and Kimmy Jo can again be apart of that great event!
But, Don’t miss the Hors Dourves during the Brew Tasting at the Jailhouse and Camp Wander-in this year. Will do the pulled pork again this year and much, much more! All are welcome to participate and bring your favorite appetizer! Think that is Tuesday at Wander-in around 12 noon.
I think Jailhouse does our share, (Ribs after RumBalls 3 years ago, Did the Halibut with Run-a-Muck 2 years ago, and Eggs Bene and Food with Brew Tasting last year)so TOm and I are going to focus on just one feed this year…Grub with the Brew Tasting. This seemed to be a place of need, as the food went real fast! What better to go along with home brew than Brauts wrapped in bacon! But you had better get there before Hooch! Sure Flat Ron will again bring his favorites. Will beef up the quantities this year, since Jailhouse is going after only one event. Cooler space was a problem last year with all we had to bring for both events. So, come early to the Brew Tasting this year if you want to sample all the goodies!
Jailhouse Rob :thumbsup

As much fun as the Benes were, it was a pain in the Ars for you guys with all the cooler space, equipment needs, and clean up. Kimmy Jo and I would be happpy to be “roaming kitchen help” in the future. I’d love to do some different things, not just the Benes. thanks for all of your hard work last byear Jailhouse boys! :thumbsup

I’ll second that Thanks! You guys went above and beyond with the Brew Tasting Apps. and The Eggs Bene joinging the Bloody Mary’s.

UJo, sorry to hear you two won’t make it in 2010. We’ll be looking for you in 2011 for sure! :thumbsup

Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green

Rob I admire all the energy you put into this, you must love to do it! :medal

The Usual Suspects. It is a given to me that these guys will be there, along with John Cowan and the Yonder Mountain boys. They are why we make the two day drive from southern Indiana each year. Eight years and counting.

I would still enjoy a little string quartet music on Sunday morning. Maybe Joshua Bell and Yo Yo Ma would be too expensive, but Mike Marshall, Chris Thile, Edgar Meyer and Bela Fleck could pick out a few Bach pieces beautifully.

Please invite Drew Emmitt back. He is always fun.

Now yer talkin cowboy :medal. I know I would enjoy but the masses might be another story.

In 2003, Edgar Meyer and Mike Marshall opened Sunday morning. It was a very pleasant Sunday morning and a great way to start off the fourth and final morning of the festival. In my eight years of TBF, it is my favorite Sunday morning. As a mandolin player I really appreciate the classics played on acoustic string instruments. Edgar, Mike and invited guests only played for an hour before Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir took the stage.

Dave Rawlings Machine: A Friend of a Friend

INCREDIBLE! Bring back Gillian and Dave - they haven’t been to TBF since 2005. It’s time again for their magic… :thumbsup

If you haven’t heard The Wiyos, then your in for a treat. They would be a great addition to either the Telluride or Rockygrass festivals.

“Band of Heathens”
saw these guys friday nt down in galveston, tx
very good energy and a “fit” for tbf
check em out…
new cd is #1 on americana chart

A BIG agreement on the Wiyos AND the Band of Heathens.

BOH was just on Austin City Limits with Costello. Their new album is even better than all the others, and I didn’t think they could top those.

The Wiyos would be great at TBF, especially an intimate Nightgrass show. They have a great stage presence.

Oh yeah, sweeeeet! Thanks they are really good. Love that! Gonna get me some of that right now. :flower

Mike Marshall’s Big Trio

Mark Knopfler’s Get Lucky

Tower Of Power, Kraftwerk and A-ha…

Those are for you Mark!

Wow that’s a nice, nice, fat, little morsel… Here’s a little song for you to celebrate the Yule:
