Which artist(s) are you most excited about seeing???

I’ve lost my taste for the radio, and in spite of all the problems with the recording industry, I love listening to TBF performers and I will probably take home music in the form of cd’s. I have no idea who will takes us this year, but I won’t be disappointed.

Well I really was not pumped for the Zac Brown Band, thought they were going to be the stupid modern country portion of the festival, but then I saw this:

They should be fun!

Agreed on the Zac Brown Band. They have done “Killing in the Name of” and “Gin and Juice” too. They should be a lot of fun.

These guys are perfect for the festivarian circuit!

We were thinking that the Zac Brown set may be a good time to wander into town but now thanks to you guys, we are re-thinking that. Thanks!

Just saw Zac Brown Band here in Ft Worth!! They really are worth sticking around for!! The fiddle player is incredible and Zac can pick with the best of them!

How is 'Ol Ft. Worth? We lived in Arlington for a couple of years and I was the chef at Walnut Creek CC in Mansfield. Our daughters loved taking trips to the gardens in Ft Worth.

I think he will be the sleeper set of the festival. (by that I mean the set the fewest people expect greatness and are pleasantly surprised.)

It’s good! Growing a lot right now-i’m afraid it is going to become Dallas! Not that big of a music scene here, but hey, I guess that’s what road trips to Colorado are for :)!
I LOVE the Botanic Gardens!! Go there quite a bit- they have a nice concert series in the summer!

Oh, how I wish Ft. Worth got more shows than Dallas, I like that side of the airport so much better.

If we got the shows that Dallas got that would be awesome…the rest can stay in D though!

I have a question…
Are the bands listed all that will be there?
Or are there usually late bookings?

Thanks in advance

I bought Connor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band’s Outer South last week and after a few listens I would highly suggest picking this up.:thumbsup I didn’t expect a whole lot from this band, but am thoroughly impressed with their sound (I can’t quite put my finger on it, its like Bob Dylan meets the Clash meets something else). Anyway, I’m really looking forward to hearing their live set on Thursday night. Yet another great band that this festival has turned me on to that I would probably not listen to otherwise.

I am excited if I am conscious through most of the day, and night, and day, and night, and day…then I don’t remember

Todd Snider!
And I am excited to see all of my lovely T-ride family, old and new! XOXO

Jenny Lewis, Punch Bros, Kasey and Shane, Bela and Toumani, and Elvis Costello!
