Hey everyone…new to this forum, but can not think about anything else since I found out that I will be attending this years festival!!! Just wanted to hear who everybody is really looking forward to seeing at this years festi.
My top 3 would have to be Yonder, Railroad Earth and Greensky Bluegrass…
But yeah I am on pins and needles for:
YMSB :love
Gaelic Storm - seen in STL but want to experience at TBF
David Byrne - have not seen yet
Elvis Costello - have wanted to see forever
Greensky Bluegrass
Punch Bros - yummy
Peter Rowan :love :love
It’s all good! Costello sounds like one not to miss. Can’t wait until the CD come out on June 2nd. Gaelic Storm closes on Saturday night. They will definitely amp the crowd. And…Emmylou…always!

Punch Brother’s Play Bluegrass!!! It’s like a junior version of what is the House Band. There is SOOOOO MUCH TALENT in these bands, it’s just silly. Oh yeah, it would be nice to see Yonder how they were 5 years ago. But if it’s the new stuff…I think I might take a nap. Sorry, but there is something about putting distortion on a beautiful Colling’s acoustic guitar. It just ain’t my cup of tea.
Sam Bush Band … my favorite…
Kacey Chambers & shane Nicholson…
Teluride House Band…
Zack Brown Band, should be awesome…
Punch Brothers…If they actually play and sing bluegrass…
yonder… as allway’s
Railroad Earth… :cheers
Tim O’Brien opening with Jerry Douglas!!!
The House Band
The Punch Brothers playing bluegrass
works progress administration
The Lovell Sisters (caught a video of them on Youtube and was astounded!!!)
Everything else…
Considering of the above I’ve only seen Tim O’Brien before, you can imagine how excited I am!!!
