My husband and I will be first timers and we are getting a little stressed about prepping to held to Bluegrass. Couple of questions-how jammed packed will we be camping-we got tickets to camp at the high school, any suggestions on items to bring other than the usual-like quarters for the showers? Curious how they decide who gets what spot and such…any help would rock…
spots are first come first serve. as for jam packed? space will not be wasted but you won’t have to share a tent with a neighbor.
The showers closest to you would be the ones located in the high school, so you don’t need to worry about the quarters. The showers in Town Park are coin operated, but you can pay cash for the showers at the high school.

And the high school showers have LOTS Of hot water!!! A shower there is money well spent… though with so many hot showers going in one place (a locker room but the showes are all private) it is like a sauna in there.

i will be there sat, at 8 am, in my camper to stake a claim. is there a designated vehicle area or just mere suggestions on best places to park a camper? i’m clueless as to what i’m in for . . .

I need some advice. I’m not able to get down to the Festival until Wednesday AM… Our other friends who will be camping with us will be arriving Tuesday AM. I’m trying to decide if I should go through the trouble to drive down from Eagle County tonight to throw a tarp down in the AM. Most of our Camp Bitch friends got shut out, so there will only be two families representing Camp Bitch this year. We do have a couple of large family size tents, and will have kiddos in tow, so it would be nice if we can get enough space together. Would anyone be willing to hold a spot for us, or would I be better off going down tonight to stake my claim?
