Seems like I posted a link to some hot springs in NM for you earlier. If you are coming to Dgo from ABQ, you won’t go through Santa Fe. If you do go through Santa Fe, you would be coming up through Chama and you could stop in Pagosa Springs CO.
From ABQ or Durango you could easily make it on into Telluride. Ouray is pretty, but all the fun stuff will be happening just over the hill from there!
