Kara has to work tomorrow. I think she should cal in sick! That picture got be blood a churnin!
We probably gonna need to stop and camp somewhere between Santa Fe/Albe. and Durango Sunday. Then to Ouray monday night. Hot springs in the N. NM area might be a good stop along the way
Kansas has gotten a bad rap because it’s long (8 hours East to West). Now, if you want a boring drive… try Wyoming, it actually makes Kansas look appealing! :lol
Just remember, once you hit the Kansas/Colorado border (on I-70 cringe) it’s still about 150 miles to Denver.
Lift-Off this afternoon, 6 pm, Nashville to Denver. Two nights in Denver, then…
:woohoo FESTIVVVAAALLL!!! :woohoo
See you Friday, Mid-Day! :thumbsup
Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green
meanderingjeeper … thanks for the preview! GREAT SHOT!
:thumbsup That’s awesome, thanks M’jeeper! Now I’m REALLY done trying to concentrate on any of this :bash crap (other than more packing). I’ll see this on Sunday! (getofftheforumgetofftheforumgetofftheforum) :cheers
Yeah, KS does have a bad rap, but it can be awesome if the sunflowers are in bloom and/or a nice breeze moving across the fields…at least for the first 2 hrs of the drive!
Will do per Santa Fe. Looking forward to driving NM!
buying a rubber chicken!! hope to see some of you fine folks on the road!! :drive (if you don’t have a chicken, do the chicken dance to any suspected festi-packed vehicle!!) :dance
Thanks for the promotion! Unfortunately I-70 does not showcase the beauty of Kansas. Try to stay alert and watch for the wind farms west of Salina. Admittedly, western KS can seem desolate, same for eastern CO. Fast travelling though, you can really clock the miles. Safe travels!
:lol :lol :lol :lolman o man I can see it’s gonna be one of those days…OK you asked for it… Choke the chicken, kinda of a touchy subject, lets see…all out of chicken jokes at this point :lol
