Lineup Dreaming

Next year is a big one…let’s hear some lineup dreaming. Top of my list? Dolly. I know, I know, seems unlikely, but as far as I know she has never played and is such an icon. Who else is on your list?

For those wondering, Billy Strings already has other gigs that weekend.

Henhouse Prowlers, and Pretend Friend are two acts that should be on that stage.

I’d love Sturgil again.

I’d like to see two house bands sets, 1 the standard classic band, and 2 a new generation house band of younger players

Tommy Prine would be perfect for TBF

Crying Uncle is ready to move up. They played Del Fest, IBMA, and HSB. These kids are hot pickers, fine singers, and all around good folks.

Todd I love the next gen house band set! Our Og House Band is irreplaceable, but formalizing that chance for the younger bands to have that set where they come together across bands and do sit ins would be so much fun.

Tyler Childers just announced his 2023 tour.

Looks like he is in Missouri the 15th and open all month after. All signs point to a telluride set

Just saw a terrific show by Bill Evans, Darol Anger, Chad Manning, John Reischman, Sharon Gilchrist, and Jim Nunally. They go by California Bluegrass Reunion and they were absolutely first rate.

They would make a terrific addition to the Shellman Stage.

Some sort of set by ‘kids’ (adult kids included) of top musicians who have played TBF. There are so many!
