ANyone know if the laundry mat has been replaced yet?
I don’t think so, but would love to hear differently
I just got off the phone with a friend in Telluride…
No, there’s no laundromat in Telluride except those in the condos.
Sorry!
AH MAN! You mean ALL the tags are gonna’ change to ‘Hand Wash Only’?
Either that, or drive down to Ridgway. There’s always the old fashioned “rocks in the river” trick, but be sure you use a “safe” soap. :flower
Where does one obtain “safe” soap? Any specific brands work best?
Here’s a start… check out these websites:

Maybe some other people have some specific suggestions available at your local market. :flower
Diluted Dr Bronner’s
I dilute 6 parts water to 1part soap for laundry :thumbsup
:cheers
I just dont get it , how can a Town of 2,000 ppl Not have a laundrymat !
:bash :bash :mad :huh
OMG, an advantage to staying in a condo rather than Town Park? Unfathomable!!!
I bring two sets of clothes, leave one in my car, and 1/2 way thru my stay I go to my car and swap them out.
thanks for the links Tom :thumbsup
I guess when houses cost from 2 to 11 million dollars (oh, i know that some are more than that!) they figure people there can afford their own washers and dryers!
maybe that’s what “they” think.
LuAnna
Thats what I was thinking LuAnna!!! I couldn’t imagine owning a home in such a lovely place and not owning a washer-n-dryer! Sure would suck getttin out just to do laundry in the winter!!! Bring on them ROCKS-n-SafeSoap!!! Now the work of festivating begins!!!
the former laundry is being turned into a residence.
Did they install the washer and dryer yet? :flower

Someone who frequents the bars/coffee shops needs to drop a hint. A couple of machines could generate a lot of customers during festival season.

I’ll send the preteen and new teen boys (extra stinky due to those new hormones) to sleep in your tent then if I only bring them one set of clothes for 12 days…LOL
