It's time again for your music suggestions...

I would like the honor of being the 1,000th festivarian to request Railroad Earth. It would be great to see Hot Buttered Rum back on the stage. Honky Tonk Homeslice and Old Crow Medicine Show would be sweet. Leftover Salmon should just be considered one of “the regulars” at this point.

The Avett Brothers have significantly advanced as musicians since the last time they rocked Town Park’s collective faces off. I would love to see them at the Opera House again. It also seems like it is about time for John Butler to get everyone shaking their thang.

Other non-traditional requests:

  • Eddie Vedder
  • Grace Potter
  • Fleet Foxes
  • The Dodos
  • Andrew Bird
  • The Roots

I second the call for the Carolina Chocolate Drops! They were phenomenal at Rockygrass.

Hi Everybody

Well, i don’t think that they’ve been mentioned yet but…

Surprise Me Mr. Davis

They would be PHENOMENAL as one of the ‘not quite bluegrass’ artists that we’ve seen lately.

Not only are they fronted by one of the absolute best songwriters of his generation (we all remember him from last year right?) but, they are all very special musicians.

Give em a shot.

and as long as we’re hoping…

BB King playing the opening Sunday Morning slot
and Spring Creek anytime

Yeah!!!

Neko Case has a new album in March. I think see would be great to see in Telluride

:cheers

She was there my first year (along with your namesake). Both were great shows that I wouldn’t mind seeing back.

Yes either wilco or just jeff tweedy would be most excellent

Love the Biscuit Burners!

Crooked Still!!! :flower

One more I thought about that would fit real well…
John Fogerty
:cheers

true dat sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

I would love to see Hot Buttered Rum at TBG this year…I miss seeing them at this festival. Caught up with them at the Los Tortugas festival in Yosemite in October and they said they would be willing coming…they just need the invite! Please Please Please bring them back- everyone I know wants them back!

Also, a newer group- Cornmeal! They get down…real dust kickers!

A not so bluegrass group- Tea Leaf Green- would be an amazing Saturday night gig. Talked to their lead singer Trevor Garrod about coming and I know they would be up for it…hope its not too late…please look into it!

Can’t wait for my 9th annual TBF!

Has anyone heard of Trampled By Turtles? They are absolutely out of this world – taking the midwest and everywhere else they go by storm. Please give them a listen! :thumbsup

Saw 'em for the second time last week. They are indeed a killer band and would be a great nightgrass show as well as a good middle afternoon main stage show.

Gotta admit, I was turned onto Neko in the last year or so - when did she play Telluride?
