Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green

Yeah !! How cool is that that there putting out a new album soon . I would love to see them in Telluride . Did they win the Troubador contest ?

There ablum Home is fantastic !!

dixie chicks would be so awesome :thumbsup

i had no idea there is a connection between them and TBF, though i suppose i shouldn’t be surprised!

Dixie Chicks won the band contest in 1990 so they were billed on the stage for 1991.
They’ve had a lot of controversy and have never been back.
I’d like to see them there as well.

wow that is super cool info tom. ty

i’ve seen them about 6 times, as recently as a few years ago and they put on a hellofa great show and have the tunes to make it so!

that whole thing about burning dixie chicks records cause of what natalie said was lame.
the death threat etc…country music fans at their worst IMO

and in case you are all wondering…she’s not ready to make nice…just yet!
forgive. yes. forget? NO

unfortunately they have a really full schedule already booked in June 2016 so it’s highly unlikely for TBF 2016. ugh

I love their spirit!!! They would be excellent.

Van Morrison :flower

She was also a huge supporter for the West Memphis Three case.

How about Little Feat as a headliner? They last played that stage in 88’ and with Bill Payne’s recent history with Leftover Salmon seems like it could make sense. Doobie Brothers don’t appear to have anything going on that weekend so Bill should be free and can also sit back in with Leftover for the weekend! Ferg - Little Feat - Make it happen!!! Doobie Bros could also be cool.

Wood brothers need to be there this year also!

Last night I saw The Subdudes and they absolutely tore the house down! Incredible show, very smooth with a lot of energy. Guys that have been touring for this long, and having a Ball playing for the people. They have not, as far as I can tell, been to TBF since 1991 and would be great to have back. They will be at the Fox in Boulder on December 31st, catch them if you can! Ferg…bring me back to Telluride! :pirate

Man, I would love to see Little Feat. I’m kind of bummed that Bill is joining the doobies. He is such a perfect fit for Salmon. The times I’ve seen them together were incredible!

Also bummed that Bill is leaving Salmon. His playing was great and it was always a blast to hear them play Little Feat songs. I’m really hoping he still joins Salmon in March at the Stanley Hotel.

Missoula is only a 3.5 hour drive from Bill’s House, so I’m thinking I have a fairly good chance of seeing him sit in so long as The Doobies aren’t on tour.

First time I saw the subdudes was at T-ride. Immediately they became my favorite band. Saw them many times in NM and New Orleans, and was TOTALLY heartbroken when they decided to “take a break” figuring it was the end.

So I was thrilled to hear they were back together (with minor changes) and seem to be better than ever. Put me down for one HUGE vote for them to re-visit T-ride.

Bela’s still pushing the boundaries- This time with Chick Corea. It’s otherworldly. The tour ends at the end of may in Japan. That gives them oodles of time to get to Town Park. If he can bring the Denver Symphony (how wonderful was that ?!), why not Chick?

The double album is called “Two”

Spent about 45 minutes watching Subdudes for first time this morning. Love them! Another brilliant find, thanks
