Since I know you’re all wondering… For the first time, we’re presenting NightGrass shows in the historic Swede-Finn Hall (replacing the Fly Me To The Moon Saloon). Swede-Finn is an intimate room (capacity 180), located on Pacific Ave in Telluride 2 blocks west of the gondola, with great sightlines and great acoustics. We think you’re going to love its unique NightGrass vibe.
OMG. That is how to put some fire under our feet ! I am ready to listen for the first time live since the shuffle. Excited about the entire lineup and NightGrass. A clone would be good now.
Fruition?!?! Awesome! I adore that band. This lineup is going to make my life difficult. Looks like Yonder on Wednesday, Fruition on Thursday, Salmon on Friday and Greensky on Saturday. I’m not sure I can handle that much partying in my life, but I’ve got to try!
I wish Yonder SOH wasn’t up against Salmon, but for me personally, there isn’t a choice there. At least I can still catch Yonder at The Conference Center! I was hoping to catch a Mustered Courage nightgrass, but again, there’s only one band I’d chose over Salmon and The Dusters aren’t going to be in Telluride this year.
I don’t know what to do about Saturday :huh Is it going to be Greensky? Steep Canyon Rangers? I missed SCR last time they were there and is probably my top 5 favorites bands , besides Greensky . What to do ?? :lol
Were I in this situation, I would try for SCR simply because those tickets will be harder to get. If you don’t get them, then the decision is out o f your hands. Plus, The Sheridan is unrivaled. One of the best music venues I’ve partied in.
are all of the nightgrass venues a close walk from the TBF mainstage?
do any of the nightgrass venues offer reserved or is it all ga(first come/served seats)
punch brothers sunday nightgrass show starts at 10:30
thats when cooder/white/skaggs is at the TBF
what are the chances the coo/whi/ska shows end right at 11, or will it go late?
i’m ok with missing some of leftover at the TBF in order to get all of greeensky’s nightgrass set
BUT no way would i want to miss the T house band closing out thursday
I concur with Billy Beru and would also like to point out how WRONG Hot Sugar was for predicting a Thursday night Greensky show!! Hot Sugar will be available for berating at Camp Run-A-Muck the entire week of pre-fest. Come on by to scoff and to enjoy a nice Crunchy Frog. Well…not “nice” per se.
It sold out via lottery last year, but tickets were not hard to come by. Everybody seems to think that their Conference Center and Palm tickets will be good trade fodder when that is simply not the case.
As a Public Service Announcement, don’t put in for Conference Center or Palm tickets hoping to trade them for Town Parks, Four Days or SOH shows. It won’t work and you’ll be stuck trying to get rid of them.
Oh wow, I’m now really keen to see fruition, been playing them all morning, fabulous.im really torn but I’m going to put in my lottery requests and cross fingers for Greensky over SCR even though your logic is impeccable.
Were I in your situation, I’d do the same thing. It’s all about personal preference. I love SCR and love the Sheridan, but not enough to miss Greensky.
