I agree. This is going to be hard. I want to go to the Sheridan and I want to see Steep Canyon there, but even though I have seen Greensky more times than I can count missing their Nightgrass set at Telluride doesn’t seem right. :huh

have some questions, if anyone can help.

are all of the nightgrass venues a close walk from the TBF mainstage?

do any of the nightgrass venues offer reserved or is it all ga(first come/served seats)

punch brothers sunday nightgrass show starts at 10:30
thats when cooder/white/skaggs is at the TBF
what are the chances the coo/whi/ska shows end right at 11, or will it go late?

i’m ok with missing some of leftover at the TBF in order to get all of greeensky’s nightgrass set
BUT no way would i want to miss the T house band closing out thursday

it’s hard to figure out what to decide to do. lol

All venues are walking distance from the main stage. (The Palm is close to a mile but you can catch the shuttle if it’s too far for you)

All tickets for all venues are general admission.

Sunday night should end pretty much on time. The town of Telluride frowns on late Sunday shows.

I would like to add to the Mayor’s post in that yes all the NG shows from Thursday on are in town. However the Yonder kick-off show is in Mountain Village. You would ride the gondola to see that one, and I believe during TBF they run the gondola until 2a.m. You can verify that once you get there. Right now the gondola is closed for the month for maintenance.

wednesday. yonder and firstgrass are both at mountain village, right?
firstgrass 5-8pm and yonder’s doors to conference centre open at 8pm
i can see that the waiting time for the gondola might be “not that great” that day.
=might just visit the village mountain on tuesday with less crowds.
i’m not that good waiting in a line up for an hour to get somewhere

You could go up on Tuesday, but if you are in Town Park campground or even if you aren’t, there are usually some fun pre-fest activities going on. Wednesday you could go up a bit early on the gondola and you would already be there for FirstGrass at 5. There are some good places to have lunch, or take a lunch with you and have a lovely picnic with a view that will knock your socks off!
