sorry Greensky, I’ll see ya next time through Denver area.

World Cup? World Cup??? … What about the STANLEY CUP ??! ! We got to see the Blackhawks at Smuggler Inn last year … was totally awesome!!!

Thanks Meanderingjeeper.
Will be watching a few of those and hate to miss Greensky but i’ll get my fix at the Palm early in the week.
BTW, I’ll be the tall skinny drunkard in the 2010USMNT Dempsey jersey wearing a tiedye hat. Come say hello and i’ll buy you a cold one. :cheers

Very Nice, MtnGuy, but they couldn’t get past my KINGS! :wave SEE YA!

The Festival does have a habit of falling in line with some major sporting events, doesn’t it? There have been years when there have been the NBA playoff finals, the NHL Stanley Cup, the US Open, and now the World Cup. But I’ll be honest, once I get to Telluride, these events just get forgotten quickly.

For those arriving to Telluride for TP land grab, the US v Ghana game is at 4pm local on Mon June 16.

O’Bannons is another fun place to watch the game and get rowdy. They were kind enough to open at crazy hours for a few past world cups.

Thanks for the great schedule! I am a first time TBF goer and an avid US Soccer fan! Really looking forward to the week ahead! Is there one pub in particular that everyone will be watching the game at?!

I will be wearing a different US Soccer jersey each day so feel free to come up chat and enjoy a beer!! :cheers :cheers

Depending on what happens this week, I might have to find someplace to watch the NBA Finals in Telluride next week, although after that disaster last night, I’m not sure I want to see it. My Spurs didn’t look so good.

All I want is for my Spurs to make Lebron cry again. Is it too much to ask?
