Hey all. Anyone else here planning on going to Winfield this year? I haven’t been since 1997, and we pulled the trigger and got early bird tickets for 2024, which are currently only 100 dollars! It’s the longest running bluegrass Festival in the US at 52 years this year, and it’s the National Flatpicking competition, so you know there’s going to be some serious pickers there! Just like TBF they have a week early Land Rush for the campground, and folks camp and pick in the campground for 2 weeks!
Yes - I’m planning on heading to Winfield this year! I grew up going to that festival (only missed one year until I was 30), and it’s a festival that is near and dear to my heart. Good music and the jamming scene is still the best that I’ve ever seen! Hope to see you there!

I’ve only been to Winfield once, in 1997! All of our friends go every year. What Camp Group do you associate with? We’ll be with the Okie crew in the Pecan Grove. Crawdaddy Paul is joining us too!
