Who are you listening to?

Same here!

Really looking forward to the Stanley Hotel on Friday the 13th :thumbsup

It’s all perspective, My Dear! :cheers

“The $10 note features the poets AB “Banjo” Paterson (1864–1941) and Dame Mary Gilmore (1865–1962). This note incorporates micro-printed excerpts of Paterson’s and Gilmore’s work.”

Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green

You will learn to love it. It’s 1 part tradition and 3 parts secret recipe. And you can only get it in one place - Camp Run-a-Muck - for a single week each year. Very much a (thankfully) limited release. Kind of like a rare, fine wine. But without the flavor.

:cheers

Ok, I’m in, bring on the crunchy frogs…gulp

Before you ingest one, you will have to read the legally binding disclaimer absolving Camp Run a Muck of all liability.

thanks all for the sam bush recommendations

is he a “for sure” every year at the TBF?
i’ve never seen him and really want to

If this is any indication there have been 41 Telluride Bluegrass Festivals
and Sam has played 40 consecutive :lol :lol :lol

:cheers

And remember to not let it touch your skin.

Very excited to see Sam Bush…not quite so excited about crunchy frog, but hey what’s the worst it could do?

You know that we Aussies are very obsessed with cane toads don’t you? They are feral and they are destroying large parts of our country and wildlife. Some folks freeze them…erk

I’ve been listening to Sturgill Simpson a lot lately.

Yonder from Kinfolk Celebration, 2nd night 9/20/14. w/Allie Kral, Jake Jolliff, Ronnie McCoury, Jason Carter, Robbie McCoury, Cody Kilby. Unbelievable nonstop JamGrass from start to finish. Have listened front to back again and again and again…

sweet!! i know he played winterfest 2014 with greensky
anyone know if sam has played with greensky at past TBFs ?

Wow yummmmm!!!

Of course! Sam plays with just about everybody at Telluride. There’s a reason he’s the king of Telluride.

Besides the Oldies but Goodies,
Steep Canyon Rangers
Kruger Brothers
Doobie Brothers
Scythian

His new album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, is just plain awesome. I love psychedelic country music.

If you like Sturgill, check out these guys. I posted them somewhere (maybe even in this thread), but I’ll post them again because they are just that good.

They were awesome!

Just got my copy of “Let It Go” on vinyl, so that’s been playing in my house a lot lately. I really hope The Dusters are on the lineup this year. One year without them was hard enough; two years in a row with no Dusters at Telluride would be painful!

One CD I put on random play every night when I go to bed.

Moody Bluegrass

I’ve never heard a tribute album done so tastefully. :thumbsup
