OK… so I thought this might be fun. Hopefully you’ll all join in. You can promise as many things as you want - after all, another’s promise may prove inspirational!
To hike Bear Creek for the first time in 6 TBFs :eek(I love hiking, don’t get me wrong, but the music schedule, the Buck, aw hell, you all know the story…)
Meet every Forumvarian (well, not every one, but damnit you know who you are) -so wear your Buttons!!!
To heed Hippie’s words maybe once “It’s a marathon, not a race.” (though Jerry I do take issue with that becaus marathons are also races, at least in these modern times). Usually I make it all the way until about Sunday at 5pm when all of a sudden I go into shutdown mode and pull a "houdini"and miss an awesome set. I am embarrassed to admit some of the sets I have missed.
I’m here for you man! Rhonny, Billy (is your name really billy?), I’ll hike the creek with you!
as for me…hmmmmmmmm.
I promise to speak my truth, in every moment.
To make an ass out of myself at least twice a day.
To sample every home-brew brought to festival.
To meet as many smiling, festivating people as I can.
that’ll do donkey…for now
oh! and strut my stuff during the Goddess walkabout…of course
ok first promise is not to wear a thong to any occasion with Deb not with me
To Festavate with as many newbes as I can
To do a walkabout around Warner Field
and to Bask in the Love of the Mountains and the Music
and replenish my soul with said love
I promise to: alternate between water and beer at least part of the day so to avoid missing any great shows.
well maybe beer is made from water.
I promise to mingle more in town park and stay up late at least 2 out of the four nights.
Beth
Your Crying …Bloody hell woman … I just recieved a CD from James …Its got all his songs on it …

To hike Bear Creek - probably only once - definately with Luanna.
To practice random acts of kindness and the “caring is sharing” rule.
To dance and smile and laugh a lot!
Not to complain too much about the utter chaos and disorder of my camp…I’ll seek refuge in cleaner, more organized spaces before I get cranky with my dear friends… who happen to be slobs;) Obviously, I need to work on this one!
To get up early and get my camp a number at least two mornings.
To soak it all in a remember how blessed we are to be a part of the magic.
have a child like sense of wonder
perform random acts of kindness and senseless beauty
smile constantly
hug everyone I meet
live in each and every moment, not worrying about what happened or might happen…to JUST BE.
