What's up Planet Bluegrass???

Are you planning something really big this year?

I ask this because there has not been any announcements either here on the forum or in the regular newsletters you normally send out ahead of time about the Town Park lottery, the Academy lottery, or the Rockygrass lottery.
In fact, I haven’t gotten a newsletter in quite a while. :huh

Those that regularly check the Planet Bluegrass site are the only ones that have responded here about the lottery, and most of the staff hasn’t even been active on the forum for months.

I’m hoping this is a good sign, and not a bad one. :thumbsup

TTom, it is not a mailing list issue, as I’ve received their emails about their last fall shows in Lyons, but as of now nothing about the lottery. Perhaps they’ve decided that there have been too many people wanting to squeeze into TP so they’re trying to cut down on the festival attendance :huh :huh

I’ve been signed up for the e-mails for two years and have never received any. Have to get all my “news” from the forum and FB.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our 2017 summer of festivation so magical – from the artists to the staff & volunteers to the thousands of Festivarians who journeyed to Planet Bluegrass from around the world. Have a look back at some of our favorite Festival moments (and share some of your own) on our Facebook page and on Instagram (@planet.bluegrass).
Mark your calendars now for our 2018 ticket lotteries – RockyGrass Academy and Telluride Town Park & Warner Field camping (11/6-11/15); RockyGrass on-site camping (11/21-11/29). All other 2018 festival tickets go onsale in December: Folks Festival & The Song School (12/4), RockyGrass (12/5), and Telluride Bluegrass (12/7).

That is so weird because I always get emails from PB about the lottery! Plus all the other great shows I can never attend…

Guys - maybe check your SPAM folders cause the emails definitely get sent :dolphin::dolphin:

Yeah, the only recent email I recall having received in recen times was one this past Tuesday (11/14) … which was the “Just a quick reminder” one about the lotteries closing on the 15th; but upon reading it, I had thought about never having received any sort of “original” email notice in the first place for there to be a reminder about.
