Hey, I think there might be too many boards. One board I was thinking that could be helpful is a general “ Planning for Festival 2023” so folk who are coming for first time can find relevant posts quickly?

There are definitely some areas to clean up here and there! I know Nat and team are working very hard on getting this all dialed in.
In the interim, some clarity:
Just like the old forum, this one is broken into a bunch of different boards called “Categories” which you can see if you click here: Festivarian Forum - Planet Bluegrass' Festivarian Nation
Here’s an overview of all currently available:
Some of those have subcategories to further allow for information to be sorted appropriately. Do you feel any of these categories are unnecessary or like we should add some?
If I’m understanding you correctly, you would want to create a new topic under “Festivarian Events > Telluride Bluegrass Festival”. Someone going to Rockygrass may not want to sort through a bunch of irrelevant TBF stuff to get to the info they need. And people going to Telluride would be able to find your post more readily!

Exactly. Thanks, I find new forum format harder to navigate, it might be because I’m working off an iPad? Lots to like but I do find it harder 5o navigate from landing page. Will keep persisting. Is engagement down? It doesn’t feel as populated but that might be because I’m not navigating as well?
The ipad shouldn’t matter - the format is the same (for the most part) across devices.
I’m pretty tech savvy and I found it a little overwhelming at first but quickly adapted. Those of us who had been on the old forum (and BB style forums in general) in the past will likely be a little confused about the layout at first because the above view isn’t presented by default as it was in the past - I think that was my main hangup and once I figured out that everything is still there in the same place as before, it’s just presented slightly differently, it clicked!
As for engagement, it does seem like some long-timer engagement is a bit down but this time of year is relatively slow (aside from ticket request posts). Hopefully that’ll pick up as FESTIVALLLLLLLL draws nearer

Quick question for you @Australian_fan since we’re chatting. Did you get a private message from “Discobot” when you first logged in?
You can check this by clicking your profile photo in the top right, then the mail icon. Scroll all the way down and see if there’s a PM from DiscoBot saying “Greetings”.
