STEVE MARTIN :cheers
iriecycle, i like the way you think… the dead, or even better, furthur would be a phenomenal addition! they’d have to come up with some acoustic stuff, maybe an edition of reckoning or something, or some old acoutic jerry band stuff…
and landshark, steve martin would be sweet, especially if the steep canyon rangers were backing him up. they are on fire right now…
so, another band to add to what i’m enjoying at the moment would have to be dehlia low, from asheville. they’ve got two female vocalists, dobro, guitar, mando, and an awesome upright bass player. we just saw them down here last friday and they, believe it or not, drew as good a crowd, and played longer than the railroad earth show the same night!!! and jon stickly, from shannon whitworth and songs from the road band, sat in with them for a good portion of the show too… so, check them out, they’re so good!

Steve Martin would be great at TBF. The venue was packed at HSB when he played, and his set with the Rangers was sweet. Tim came out and played with them. A good time was had by all.
Hope!
Congrats on reaching your 1,500 post! :woohoo :clap :clap :hop :hop :hop
Tom, what kind of prize do you have for her?
I’ve been listening to the Elvis Costello cd Secret, Profane, and Sugarcane
alot lately. This is an “epic” recording and I nominate it for all possible Grammy’s.
As far as next year for the headliners
Mark Knopfler, please…
Bruuuuuuuuce, ask him, he will come…
Cadillac Sky would be awesome at both TFB and RG :cheers

TRAMPLED BY TURTLES!!!
Im already getting too damn excited for next year!!!
Another vote for Cadillac Sky, also Steve Martin, and Seldome Scene. Yeh Yeh, Yeh Yeh.
im glad ya enjoyed them
im gonna be seeing trampled by turtles pretty soon for the first time, and i can’t wait, after all the good things i’ve heard about them
and something else that would stellar at festival would be…
solo bela and friends!
we saw him in nashville last weekend, playing solo and abigail washburn and jerry douglas both came out and did a number with him. solo bela is great! and with friends, the music is just top notch!
so, to add for a wish list at telluride, i’ll have to say a bela and friends performance
Wish list: Leftover Salmon…pleeeease!
Leftover Salmon mentioned another “big announcement” coming soon on their facebook page, maybe it’s Telluride…

I’ll second that motion. Bela did that in 2008 at TBF and it was wonderful!
Bela and Friends can never go wrong!
Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green
The Bela, Edgar Zakir project
I like the Robert Earl Keen suggestion, real fun show.
Flatlanders ( Joe Ely, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock)
Lots of EDGAR
Greensky again
Abagail Washburn
Gillian Welch and David Rawlings
Peter Rowan (Reggabilly?)
David Byrne again
Sarah Jarosz
Old and in the Grey

i am sure i could keep going, but maybe I will post again
THE INFAMOUS STRINGDUSTERS! Get it while you can! And please, get them to come back for 2010. Please :flower
Spencer Bohren just came through here and he was fantastic. Throughout his show he played a copper guitar, an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, a pedal steel, a dobro, and a banjo. He was amazing. He mentioned a friendship with Tim O’brien, the two of them would be one hell of a show.
