Went to little known Awesome Bluegrass Fest this weekend...

… took a drive out to Lake George, CO and went to the 2nd annual Happy Ass Ranch Bluegrass Festival and Jam … had about 10 bands there over 2 1/2 days, to include Spring Creek, Grass it Up, etc. Very small by telluride standards … only a few hundred there this year … but Im sure thatll be doubled next year. Next year I’ll camp for the weekend. If you like good music, but don’t care for huge crowds … then … keep your eye out for it next year … weekend after 4th of july.

BTW … Telluride Tom … Dennis Croft (past judge for TBF band contests) throws out a ‘howdy’. He’s playin with the Florissant Fossils Bluegrass Band these days. If you make it to Rockygrass, he’s judging the band contest there.

I think you meant Dennis Holt, and I’m sure I’ll run into him at Rockygrass as usual.
