Well, we're getting close..... sorry for the radio silence!!!!

Sometimes it’s quite a chore to scoot people around, figure days, wait for the last couple of offers to get accepted, all that… probably about two weeks…

so, in the meantime, perhaps I’ll tell you who is NOT coming… they you guys can start a new list! Alison, Willy, Mumford, Neil, Yusuf, Emmy, Billy Nershi, Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, Sturgill, Tedischi/Trucks, David Grisman, Dolly, Elephant Revival, SCI, Uncle Earl, Kate Bush, Brothers Comatose, Fruition, Jeff Austin… are NOT coming… tho that’s a nice list … and I’ll betcha lots of that will be invited to 2016…

So… perhaps a reset and perhaps our Australian Fan can start a new list?

I can say that one of the bands we’ll be announcing is someone she’s very familar with…

Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals is not on this list. Nor The Decemberists. Perhaps on purpose, perhaps on accident

Wow so nice to hear from you Ferg :thumbsup
On Tuesday night my beloved Blackhawks lost Patrick Kane for the next 3 months and on the very same night Da Bulls lost Derrick Rose yet again. Had a rough nights sleep. Well it didn’t end there, I woke up this morning to go to work only to find out that someone needed my truck more than I did. Right from my driveway. Anyway enough of that and onto positive possibilities of a new list of artists!!!

Peace
Pete
AKA Da Grasshopper

I’m betting on the Waifs. They are Australian and they are playing North America this summer.

BOOK IT! :lol

David Bromberg and Larry Campbell were not eliminated so my pick is still good

ok, no ben harper and no criminals (except for the ones at pete’s house) and no bromberg…

guys, guys, guys…

we are planet bluegrass… think the last stuff would be stuff you could guess???

what do you take us for!!!

gosh, I’m kinda in trouble now…

I’m hurrying, I promise!

dang, maybe I shouldn’t have got you guys all riled up!!!

I’m walking a fine line!

When’s the big announcement!

Well, if we are focusing on Oz, then I would lean towards Kasey Chambers, but I would not rule out Vance Joy. It has been at least 10 years for The Waifs so bring em all…and JBT as well.

I am travelling from Australia for my first TBF and you are hinting that there is going to be TWO Australian bands??? Oh come on, don’t do that to me…I wanna see YOUR bands too but I guess I can start fantasising about who you mean?

Kasey chambers is FAB though…keith Urban??

Oh god, I suddenly thought…Nick Cave??? Now that would be something AMAZING. Surprise us PB!
:wave :wave

Thanks for the update.

OMG!!! FERG! This is torture! I did not see Robert Plant on your no go list so…hummm. Stop it! :lol

RC??? YIKES! That would be epic!

I am remembering some of the past amazing headliners like Steve Winwood, and John Fogerty just to name a couple. I’m betting that PB was once again thinking kind of “outside of the box” when they picked the final lineup for this years performers. So to me anyway that leaves the field pretty well wide open. Any way I look at it I am getting REALLY excited for TBF already.

We already know about Robert Earl Keen, Robert Earl Keen, Robert Earl Keen! So reach into your pocket, Ferg, and show us the three twenty’s and a ten

:cheers

Jay Farrar and Son Volt? Jeff Tweedy and Wilco (Wilco is playing Red Rocks in July. They may be contractually prohibited from playing Telluride in June.)

Waifs just announced for Folks Fest. Which, by the way, has a KILLER initial lineup!

As well as kasey chambers

The Greencards?

I would love to hear Kasey Chambers’ sweet voice echoing in the canyon…I’m hoping she’s the Aussie!

My Aussie guess:
“Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap”
Oops, wrong festival.

The Canyon would never be the same.

and as for other additions, it wouldn’t be Telluride without DEL!!! :huh :flower
