what is the weather like in Aug, pretty much how cold does it get at night and what to bring to stay warm.
It all depends on where you are. If you’re in Antartica, it probably gets pretty cold. If you’re in the Sahara, it probably gets pretty hot but then it gets cold at night.
in telluride
Be prepared for weather as low as the 30’s late at night. As I remember, it dips into the 40’s pretty consistently during the evenings. Either way, if you’re going to be camping, have winter clothing. And if it rains, that’s when it really gets chilly! 40 degrees can feel like 25 degrees if you’re cold and outside. So don’t forget your waterproof coat, warm hat, gloves, etc.
Then, you’ll go from cold to pretty hot during the day.
If you haven’t camped at elevation before, don’t let your brain talk you out of bringing your winter clothes. I often hear of ppl that where given advice to dress warmly, then ignore it for whatever reason. If you’ve got housing, you’ll be better off - but still want to bring a coat and hat.
Sorry about my first post, but I couldn’t resist :lol
that’s ok Sugar :thumbsup
You got me thinking about fuzzy animals, both two legged and more.

If you’re coming to the bluegrass festival, it is in June, and it is cold at night. In August, it is cold at night, but not AS cold, but still cold enough to want a jacket or long-sleeved shirt. I’m sitting here today, 90 miles away, watching it snow again. And today is April 29, so it isn’t that long until TBF.
