You’re talkin’ real honey right? I think you should bring it in a barrel, and then selectively pour it over the sour puss’ in the crowd. Then, Hooch can spoon feed Crunchy Frog, the Guv’Nah can escort them to “The Cup”. If that isn’t a mood changer, I don’t know what is.
I’m bummed that Hooch screwed the pooch again and ran off another pretty girl.
I really think it was just a case of “everyone hasn’t met yet and you/me/we/he/she didn’t get the humor, understand where the line or humor should be drawn with someone that hasn’t been in the circle yet, and we’re all going to be best friends when we actually meet”. kind of thing, really, and Ms. Lara does have a very good Festivarian heart in training. :thumbsup
Agreed. Also, I think the dedication she showed in putting this whole challenge together shows that she is exactly the type of person we want at Telluride.
Hey, I’m just trying to keep the competition down for you, Melisa! You should appreciate that but I know Billy B and Hippie are going to kick me in the shins.
I am looking forward to meeting Lara and buying her a beer (and scoring her medallion.) She’ll feel the festivarian warmth and all will be forgotten and forgiven.
Then I’ll ask to see her pole dancing technique! :evil :evil :evil :evil :evil
Yes Hope, she can’t hear us, she can only read words on a screen which cannot convey the tone of the speaker/writer, especially if she reads it from a phone and can’t see the emoticons of laughter which are often present. If/when she meets us, and takes the time to observe and listen, she will (or should) realize that for THIS group, no aberration occurred. Festivarians in general are a magnimous group, and I believe that not one made an intentional acrimonious comment. If I did NOT know us, however, I can understand how she may have taken some things the wrong way.
