I haven’t spoke publicly about this, but I would like it to be know that someone amongst the festivarian community decided to vandalize my brand new 2019 Toyota Tacoma at Riverbend campground last year, causing about $1600 in damages. These damages have been repaired, but the damage that it has caused me and my family personally in regards to how we feel about this “community” will take quite some time to repair. This happened in the parking lot of the campground, and we can only guess as to why the person targeted my vehicle. We assume that this happened because of how close we were forced to park next to each other, and the person had a hard time getting out of a parking spot. This person keyed the word “dick” into my tailgate, and then decided to key two more spots on my driver side bed fender. Irony of this is that at no point did it ever cross this narcissists mind that they in fact were the one being a dick! If you are reading this, know that you are an asshole of the largest magnitude. If this was your friend and you witnessed this selfish act, you too are at fault and also fall into the asshole category! Shame on you for bringing such a hateful act to such a beautiful location and festival!! I’m sure you feel like you taught me a lesson, but I have no idea what lesson you thought that was. We will be back, but with a somewhat sour taste in our mouths. As parents, we couldn’t even let our daughter know about this because of how safe she feels at this festival and we couldn’t let you damage that for her. I hope you sleep well at night! I would like to post pictures but I can’t figure out how to do so on the forum. If anyone has any information about this please leave a comment below. End rant…
I’m truly sorry this happened to you. It’s not a normal festivarian response to a parking problem that is a normal part of any large group.
You can post small pictures (there is a size limit) using the “Additional Options…” below the “Listening to:” portion of your original post.
Peace and Love and music.

Wow, this is honestly the first time I have ever heard of anything like this happening. I am truly sorry you had this go on. I hope this will not ruin the experience enough that you wont give it another try.
We live locally, we will be back. I know this isn’t typical for the festival, but being that this happened on Sunday night it’s hard not to see how a week of guzzling whiskey might have made this person think it was a good idea, and that they were really sticking it to me. This year will be our 8th RockyGrass and my 6yr old daughters 7th. I really do hope that someone has a guilty conscience about what their friend did and speaks up. Someone knows!
