Does anyone know the conditions of the Sneffels Highline trail currently? Is there snow enough to require microspikes or not much with this low snow year?
How about Ajax Peak? There was considerable snow on the upper trail last year that made me grateful to have the microspikes, but I don’t want to carry them if not necessary.

There hasn’t been any snow down there for awhile. Trails will be dry unless the rain this week was significant.
Rain over the past weekend was not significant enough to muddy any trails. Snow may be patchy in the shade or north facing slopes but spikes will not be necessary.
