Town Park virgin? Get your answers here!

I imagine I will too :cheers

As if we weren’t hooked already. :lol

I agree with tommyboy, this crew is the best. :medal

For 20 plus years there was a festival family here but the music has gone ‘south’ on us and a lot of us have gone 'north. Me… I’m headed West! From what I read here, it’s the Wild, Wild West! (I always did like that show… “James”) :whip

Thanks for making all the ‘newbies’ feel so :welcome and giving us so much to look forward to at TBF!

Hope Lin :pickin

Moral of the story: Get the name and camping location of at least one of the men you kiss when playing the "kissing game"... that way you have somewhere warm and dry to sleep.

Fantasic moral of that story, MG!! Please invite me to your next bachelorette party!! :evil

Thought would bring this topic back up to the first page for the Newbes

ask away !!

:cheers

I just noticed this post Daniela - thanks to Ron. You are so invited… the question is, however, do I have to get married again in order to have another bachelorette party? Or can I have a bachelorette party to celebrate the fact that I am a bachelorette?

Maybe we should have a bachelorette party while in T-ride. Talk about To-Hell-U-Ride! When I think of the women that would participate… :rollin … now that would be a fun “girls night out” in town!

xoxo

Hello!
ok this is my first post on the forum…I have LOL so many times reading all of your musings! :wave
I have been coming to TBF for 16 years and this is my first town park experience. Not because I didn’t want to but lets just say my crew isn’t as camp fire girl as I am. So with that being said, we will be adding ourselves to the camp of virgins! Most of my questions have been answered by you vets…one thing though…how many people are actually in town park? 200? 500? I guess I just want to know how lucky I really am by winning the lottery this year. :lol

normally 1200 to 1500

so you were damn lucky
:cheers

It’s not really how many are there that matters, let’s just say that once the planet takes over the campground, there are tents and nice people everywhere. There always seems to be room for everyone - you just might get your second favorite spot. :flower

OH BOY!!! :woohoo

Yeah Joey, close your eyes and you can just picture the sight… a whole mess of hot fest-ovarians (I know, don’t say it!) at the Last Dollar, whooping it up, with all the guys standing outside - noses pressed up against the glass!

If y’all are nice… we just might let you gentlemen inside! :flower

“Scarlet” Monkey

Does it count for or against us getting in if we get caught lickin’ the glass?

Count me in on the bachelorette party.

well… I’m a Telluride Virigin… I play country/jazz guitar and am honestly looking forward to jamming with people more than I am the rest of the festival…

The people I’m coming with are camping outside of town… How and where do I go to where people are playing music? I want to jam… I’m intensively in love with playing music, and I honestly can’t wait… I LOVE interacting with and learning from other musicians… honestly… I’m just wanting to play music in the mountains… this drywall/concrete jungle I live in is really not too conducive to good music…

This sounds like it could be the beginning of something REALLY fun! If we decide to pursue the planning… we should move it to a topic of it’s own… maybe.

Perhaps the ol’Floradora would be a good venue. I was sad to see that go… and so glad it’s back. The question here is… will Joey still be able to lick the glass?

Speaking of virgins… I’d like to send a howdy out to all the recent joiners, and the first timers. It’s good to see the love spreading… it’s sad that I might not get a tickie-poo.

xoxo

<— monkeygirl needs a monkey ticket!

I’ll send Deb along to be the Den Mother …

Well, I suppose it’s time to bring this thread back to life seeming as though there are a few more of us joining the town park crew this year! I have been trying to wrap my head around all the different camps that set up, and I still have no idea about who’s in what camp or how the camps got started, or where the heck I should camp, and all that good stuff. How many people campign in TP make up the established campsites? How many non run-amucker/fishbone/totally lit/wanderin-ers (I know there’s more) are there?

  OK folks get it through your heads, or wrap it around your head

You can sleep on June 29th, :zzz Music in the campground is open to one and all. If you’re a musician that is new to a pickin circle its a good idea to hang in the background until you can pick up on the groove of the music and/or wait until it’s comfortable to join in or somebody invites you. :thumbsup

:hop :hop 24 hours a day you will be listening to live music :hop :hop

I have attempted sleep in camp many times and sometimes been successful.

The established camps have all come together after years of intermingling and self cooperation. Some are loosely organized and tend to Run a Muck throughout, others stay close home around the pinata shaped like a Flamingo, still others enjoy the warm hospitality of the old propane fired living room at Fishbone. All of the established camps welcome vivitors, just remember to respect your hosts and offer to pitch in with a hand for dishes, drinks, or garbage collection and water hauling.

:flower Think of it as your annual family reunion - Another gathering of the lost tribes :flower

Geeeeez Can I Leave RIGHT now?

:cheers :cheers :cheers

Well put Jerry! :cheers
