i was just looking for some info on the camping. We have just moved to northern Arizona and were going to make our way to the festival this year for the first time. I was wondering if going the lottery route for camping was the way to go. (looking for the best time possible) Also I was wondering about the type of climate issues that we would see. Any info would be helpful for this Telluride virgin :cheers
You’ll find all kinds of information in the multiple pages in this section of the forum. Read through as many of those as you can, then come back and ask questions that haven’t been answered in previous posts.
It’s better to read some of them than to have the same questions answered multiple times.
I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic time if you get into (and get picked) in the Town Park lottery. :flower
I think that the term “great time” is a bit of an understatement.
Don’t be dis-heartened if you don’t win the Town Park lottery. There’s a possibility to still get tickets between now and June as people realize they can’t attend and put their tickets up for sale here on the forum. Also, you can get Warner Field camping which is just next door to Town Park and that ticket will grant you access to Town Park to come see all the music and frolicking.
Holy crap, only six months away! I’d better start packing!
Yep I agree with Hooch. Even if you don’t get picked in the Lottery you can still snag a ticket for Town Park or the RGA when folks start to cancel out …
Watch the board here and craigs list.
