That log? I remember that log… and carry the scar to this very day. It actually led to #10 of my 12 knee surgeries (the other 11 being from skiing through the trees at night whilst drinking… well, not all of them but some of them).
The other scar I carry is from drinking some of Ellen’s ‘shine and experiencing the well-documented neurological impact. Those of you who are familiar know what I’m talking about; It’s that pesky little neurological side-effect where your legs suddenly turn to jello? Only this time I was in James’ tent, hearing about some new brew-traption and fell on his big ol’propane heater. Very big, very nasty burn, that one.
I think that all in all… two scars : twenty five years. Pretty good ratio!

regarding your road trip, I haven’t tried printing it, the original from Jerry the Hippie should be fine. Just keep in mind you never know what’s going to happen at the running of the bulls, ok, I forgot what they call the run to get your preserve spot. Getting there the Friday before the Saturday seems the smartest bet.
PS. I’ve added vehicles to the map. :lol I will create a printable one after all is entered. Do I need TP’s by the preserve as well as the river? Can the Camp Billy be a goat? Is that where Tim is?

Oh, sorry to all the peeps who don’t live close enough to go to T-Ride on a whim! That was very insensitive of me. :swearing Here’s the thing. I’m jonzin’ so bad from this forum that if I don’t get to Telluride this weekend I’m just going to EXPLODE. I need my fix! I need to know that things haven’t changed and that Mother Nature is doing her job down there of making everything green and pretty for the festival. I need to see it, I need to feel it, and I need to BREATHE it. Are ya with me? Hooch and I will come back and give everyone a full report, I promise. Then maybe in a few weeks Ron, Deb, Mayor Tom, and whoever else can make it can all pile in their vehicles and meet us at the Buck for a little pre-fest imbibing? How does that sound to everybody? Maybe the first weekend in May? Whaddya say?? Who’s in? Who’s with me? Who wants a piece of this action?? :hop
