Thanks Beth-Looks like I need to stock up on Batteries for Boombox-not really concerned about blending.
run a muck will have enough solar power for a blender, but you’ll need to bring your own.
:peace
With all the great live picking that will be going on, that boombox won’t be getting much use! If you do need batteries, please buy the rechargeable kind with a charger, and you can recharge them at the outlet in the bathroom. If you can’t do that, the hardware store in town might have a recycling place for spent batteries, and if they don’t, then give them to me and I will take them with me next time I have some to recycle. Just don’t want them ending up in the landfill oozing out acid, ya know?
TBF strives to be a very green festival, and every little bit we can do helps them accomplish this. Thanks for doing your part.
Heyo Festivarians!! :wave
I love this thread! i guess i never found it in all my lurking, or it might have motivated me to post a little more. Heck, i didn’t even realize i was lurking until i saw this thread!! well, the first step is to admit that i have a problem, and now i figure there’s no better time to start posting than the present!
I’ll be coming in for my 3rd TBF this summer…getting there early this year, hopefully in time for the land rush (is there a “fingers crossed” smiley that i missed?). I biked in for my first bluegrass festival in 2007 as part of the Bluegrass by Bike contingency and fell in love with this festival and all you wonderful festivarians :love. To my own great disappointment :(, i missed the next year…i suffered from a nasty case of the festi withdraws :sick. Last year, I made a full recovery and had more fun than i thought was humanly possible :abduct!! I always tell people, it doesn’t really matter whose playing the festival (though we all know the Planet doesn’t disappoint), it’s all about the community… :cheers !! Thank you all for that!
Can’t wait to do it up again this summer! See ya 'round town :wave
JAM!!
HEY! I KNOW YOU!!!
Welcome out of the shadows, DUDE!!! :lol :lol :lol

P.S.
Can you provide a link to your 2007 BGBB Trip Site? I’d love to see it again!

Hello All!!
100% guilty!!! I love lurking on this sight, there’s such great online energy! I joined the forum last year just before my 1st TBF, it was great and I felt at home before I even got there. :thumbsup We are coming again this year, pending the purchase of tickets AND all my excess energy is going towards willing that to happen!!! :eek
This sight is GREAT!!! and I hope to be more a part of all the extra stuff this year! We have a bit more time this year.
If anyone needs a ride from St. Louis, or anywhere along the way, let me know!
Happy festi season! :cheers
HUGS

Helloooooo, I’ve been lurking on and off for a week or so. I first came to this site because there was a link on the Telluride site about good memories. Little did I know, but my insane brother, Hooch, had started the thread. Why am I not surprised? Well, here I am. I mainly visit to look at photos. I like taking them too, so you may see me behind a camera this summer. Peace out…
Lurker here. I usually don’t post much but I thought I would say howdy since my kind has been specifically called out. :wave
This will be my first time at the festival and I am pretty stoked. I am driving up from Tucson and will be camping at Lawson.
Could anyone recommend a good vegetarian friendly restaurant in town? Are there dining out options that won’t break the bank?
Hi Moonbeam aka Hooch’s sister. Is your husband’s name Sun Ray? You do know your brother wears a lampshade don’t you? I just don’t want you to be too surprised by his camp antics. :lol :lol :lol :lol It’ll be nice having ya’ll there.
Moonbeam- I hope you have read the “Bacon thread or the For Hooch thread.”
Hey there Auntie!
the sun’s so bright out out of the shadows!! :sunshine it feels good!
here a link to our blog that started the trip. http://bluegrassbybike.blogspot.com/ The website is not currently active. Do the the fact that I live in the Seattle area now, and have a :quote real job now, I’m not making the bike trek in
I’m hoping to get some BBB movements going out here in the NW for some of our own festi’s…maybe some biking to String Summit, Pickathon, or even the Blackberry Festival up in Bellingham.
but my heart still lies in Telluride with all you fine folk!! Super psyched to see you all there!
