We twang so that common folk can tell we’re special. First of all, when you hear someone twanging you know they are good people. That is how we identify with each other. We can talk without the twang, if it benefits us, or we need to fit “in” with your bunch. Or we can really twang if we want you to hear less than is necessary. So the next time you hear someone twanging, be thankful you just ran into someone that is very kind and endearing. Treat them special.
