Hey RockyMtnGuy…or anyone else who knows…for 2008 I paid about the same amount for a room at the Victorian Inn - it was nice and no problems but if I can get a condo for similar or the same price that would be better. What is the best way to go about finding the most affordable lodging this far in advance? $225 a night is the price range I am in for 2 people.

Any advice I would surely appreciate.

Thanks

You can go to PBG web site and click on TBF than Lodging and this will give you a start. ResortQuest is what I use 970-728-6621 or ResortQuestTelluride.com :flower
This IS the time to book yer condo.

thanks - resort quest definitely has some reasonable rentals available

what is the PBG website? please forgive my ignorance

www.bluegrass.com

also there is a link in the upper right side of the forum page. :flower :cheers

duh - planet bluegrass - i am an idiot

I’m sorry , no you are not an idiot, I should have been more specific :flower

Not even close wait till it comes down to CRUNCH Time …Then the Real Dummys show up
Im speaking of myself …of course !!!

well - thanks everyone for the info and kind words - i don’t think i posted it before… but 2008 was mine and my wife’s first TBF - we are obviously hooked - we have next year’s vacation planned already  i just wanted to say that this board and the festivarians are a big part of why we want to go back - i have seen hundreds of concerts, festivals, and what not - i have to say TBF was the best run, best vibes, most professional, well executed music event of its kind i have ever been to - and i think the biggest part of that is the people that attend…just using this little post as an example…i had a question and within less than i day i have a helpful, useful intelligent response - i don’t think i got a chance to post my praise and thanks so i figured i would do it here - thanks again and i am sure i will have more questions before june '09

Glad to have you in our family brother… :flower :medal

hooray we booked a condo in the mountain village through resort quest for a good price - just $100 more for a condo as opposed to the hotel room i was going to get

thanks for the advice - now i just have to deal with the next 9 months fortunately we are going to see Yonder Mountain in NYC next month

:wave :wave Score!!! :wave :wave

Ya’ll are going to have to get by without me next year :frowning: My new job has me on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off up in Prudhoe Bay, and that means TBF '09 falls smack dab in the middle of my shift for that month. Turns out I am going to be working for a lot of things…like Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and my birthday…bleh :frowning:

Hey Bro
Sorry to hear it !
:cheers

I think Cory and Jarrod Walker are fresh, young and play some smokin’ bluegrass. :wave :flower I would love to hear these guys live!!! :horsey :horsey
Can we leave yet? :flower
