I have read about the tarp run,lottery situation, still a bit confused,
Are we handed a number daily?
Is it handed out with tickets?
I’m a solo guy,so maybe i can just share?
This is my first tbf,im camping in town park,just trying to get a feel…look forward to meeting new people
Solo, the tarp run shouldn’t need to apply to you. But every day starting Wednesday afternoon/evening for Town Park and Warner only, they hand out random numbers for the next mornings run, for those interested in running. In the mornings, about an hour or so before the first act, the tarp run will begin, with folks lined up according to their numbers. Some folks aim for a spot for their group in the front of the soundboard, others aim for shade shelter spots. Being solo the best advice is to meet everyone you can in Town Park, sit in on open jams, definitely meet your neighbors, and whatever is the largest camp group near you. Get there early, Saturday of TP land rush, or Sunday for the best experience! During festival days, you will have no problem finding some tarp space to share on another tarp, just be nice, or you might be invited by an established camp to join their tarp.
Thank you so much for this. As I travel around to different countries and different festivals I always meet people. I’m very yappy and talkative hahaha, I’m sure I’ll meet some great folks and I’m never in a hurry to get up front and push people out of the way and anything unnecessary. I just want to dance and have a good time it’s about the experience and the memories. Not how close I can get and what pictures I can take. We can all just have fun and enjoy each other’s company and I look forward to this great experience. Thank you once again for the information I will figure things out as they go
