I’m having this overwhelming urge to do something stupid, like drive down tonight (If i could come up with a Dog solution), and spend 16 hours in the car and 5 hours sleeping just to see all you lovely people for a few hours.
So don’t tell Tessa…but if a ticket floats my way, i may see you at ground zero for a few hours tomorrow. And I’ll bring Flat Ron

Well i’m doing it. If i thought anyone in Town park would see this, i’d caution them this is going to be a surprise for Tessa & the kids, so don’t tell (she doesn’t read here).
So Flat Ron & I are departing around 4-5. I should be able to get all the way “there” tonight, i’ll just need a place to sleep a few hours when i get there. Could stop on Dallas Divide, or do Alta, or ??? Any of the locals have a good suggestion?

Success!! I slept up on Last Dollar Road for a few hours, parked at Mtn Village, and went and got my Wristband. A little help from a friend, and I was able to surprise the family in camp before we headed into the festival. Got tons of hugs, got Kittied up with the rest of the Kitty Kat Klub for Sammy, and saw some great music with my family and friends!
Left at the beginning of Salmon…arrived at the McClure Pass campground at 3:00 AM. Got back on the road at 9, and was here at my desk working by 1:00 PM.
Mission Accomplished.
