Single-day tix onsale on Dec. 5

An important change to our 2013 ticketing…

This year, for the first time, we will begin selling single-day tickets on the same day that 4-day passes go onsale (Wednesday, December 5).

As you know, in past years we have waited to begin selling single-day tickets until we could announce the complete single-day lineup – typically sometime in late winter. But when 4-day passes sold-out in December last year, we had to resort to a lottery to manage the extreme demand for the relatively small number of single-day tix. So rather than being forced into another single-day ticket lottery, we’ve decided to make this year’s single-day tickets available before 4-day passes are gone.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the artist booking process, this means single-day tickets will be onsale prior to the announcement of the single-day lineup.

For the single-day purchasers who already know which days they’re able to attend, this should be an improvement. From our phone and email conversations with festivarians last year, we believe this to be the majority.

For those who purchase single-day tix to see a particular performer, we apologize for the inconvenience of this change. As some consolation, we remind you that single-day tickets will be fully refundable thru our TBF refund deadline of March 22, 2013.

Hey, Brian, is that a flip phone? Nice - so retro! :medal
