I wanted to get folks opinions on having a pop-up/shade tent/EZ Up in the camp grounds (specifically Lawson Hill) in addition to our camping tent. It would be great to have a bit of shade near our tent but we also want to be respectful of not taking up too much space. Thoughts? Opinions?
I can’t speak for Lawson because I’ve not camped there but we always have an EZ-up at Town Park - can be a nice respite from the rain/sun!
Christian – you can have one, but just bring some weights for it to hold it down, as winds can get high. I camp in Lawson every year and see lot’s of people with 10x10 canopy tents over the top or adjacent to their tents. Lawson is open & exposed to the sun all day, so it’s prefect to have that escape from the sun.
