I’ve checked the Planet Bluegrass FAQ’s and other Telluride information, but could not find a solid answer: Are scooters and motorcycles allowed to travel on the streets of Tellurided during the festival without a barricade pass? I haven’t been to the festival in a few years, but I recall seeing vast scooter/motorcycle parking spots around town.
Thanks in advance!

I can’t give a definite answer but the rules usually revolve around if the vehicle needs a license plate.
I haven’t been there on the Harley in about 7 years, but back then they just waved us right on in to town. Could be different now though, but come on up anyway!
I’ve got closure to my question!
I got a response from the lady in charge of barricade passes in Telluride, and she says that scooters and motorcycles are exempt from needing passes.
Now if I could only find out for sure if it’s okay to bring in bottled beer to Town Park. It doesn’t say anything online about it being prohibited, but the ticket says “no glass containers.” I’m unclear if that’s pertaining to the festival or the campground. Again, it’s been a few years since I’ve been there and I can’t quite remember.
See all you crazy butts in a few days!
I think bottled beer is ok in the campgrounds but why? There’s plenty of good mircobrews in cans these days as well as the domestic swill. They’re lighter, more compact to fit in your cooler, fits nicely in a cozy, safer than glass and you can crush 'em on your forehead after completion for a laugh. I’m bringing Dales Pale Ale, Upslope’s Craft Lager and IPA! :cheers
Well, as for glass, it is strickly prohibited on Warner Field, Anywhere near the festival entrances and verboten at high school camp. When in doubt, glass is OUT! Course, thousands of bottles of adult and junior bevs make to the campgrounds all the same.
We have had visits (Warner) from the camp supervisor who would spy our liqqer bottles strewn after a long, late night and tell us it was a no-no, slap on the wrist accepted and we would cover this items more diligently. But they could toss you out for it as it is posted. Thankfully they use a ‘firm but fair’ approach…
