A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT**

This forum is intended for Festivarians to buy, sell, and trade tickets to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

Any offering of more than face value for ANY ticket will not be tolerated. A small fee to cover shipping is the only exception.

If you offer to sell tickets for more than face OR to buy tickets for more than face, you risk being banned from this forum in it’s entirety.

Please help perpetuate the Festivarian spirit by only purchasing tickets for face value.

DO NOT ENCOURAGE SCALPERS OR THOSE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR NEEDS!

If someone truly can not attend the festival, they can return the tickets to the Planet Bluegrass office by the refund deadline for a full refund.

Good luck with your ticket searches, and we’ll see you in June.

Unfortunately, there’s not much The Planet can do about scalping outside of this forum. That ball is in our court. We can flag the hell out of Craig’s List scalpers and refuse to pay anything more than face value. If these scalpers can’t sell their tickets, they won’t try next year. Make them lose money on these. They’ll either be forced to sell for face value or they’ll have to hold on to those tickets.

Someone flagged my ad for Two 4-day festival and Mary E camping + vehicle pass as scalping / scamming. If that was you ( since I see this complaint on the same day it happened) please refrain.
I stated that they are face value. Maybe you were confused that the $900 was for 1 person.
Also $ 100 for the vehicle. These are face value. Thank you.

I just got scammed off the forum for 350$ for a LVJ RV pass. My bad but I want you to know so you can remove them or something?

The user name was brunner
This was the email I received and then I stupidly venmo’d them 350$
The email address was as below but then the name was Teresa T.

Hello, I have some passes available email brunner.88@outlook.com if you’re still looking to buy

After investigation, we’ve confirmed this user is a scammer and their post has been deleted. Sorry this happened to you. Folks, please use caution and if something smells fishy, ask for proof or ping us mods to help verify.

Thanks for investigating it. I just feel lousy about going at all now. Just a bad vibe. Is there anyway I can get a refund on two 3day passes and two LVJ passes at this late date. I don’t feel like going anymore.:face_holding_back_tears:

No fun for this to happen and I’m sorry it did.

Keep in mind this person appears to have been from overseas and is not associated with this festival in any way besides trying to scam our users.

Festivarians, people who associate themselves with these festivals, are an amazing and trustworthy crew and the vibes are great. I know this is a bummer but try not to let some random scumbag from across the world sap up the positive vibes we try so hard to maintain. I think you’ll be happy and refreshed if you end up going.

With that said, there’s no way to get a refund but you could attempt to sell your tickets.
