Saturday Night Live January 31st

This just in from one of our spies:

Brittany Haas is an amazing fiddler. Four strings are not enough for this girl, she has five…

:quote Hey Folks:
I’m boasting for her… because one of our friend’s most
amazing kids is going to be appearing on Saturday Night Live in 3
days. Britt’s playing with host Steve Martin. She’s the fiddler on
his new album, to be released (Jan. 31?) Saturday night anyway.

Aint’ that cool!

Way to go! :quote

:peace

I’ll be watching! :thumbsup

:wave High Tom

Can you be recording? I don’t get TV here.

I will Dvr it !
:cheers

Thanks Ron… out of blank VCR tapes… and digital is much better! :flower

The CD is quite good, I gave it a good listen earlier today.

Me too! :medal

Musical guest is Jason Mraz…who I think is a great talent.

…stick around for him. :flower

(I’m excited to see Steve pick, too)

Hummmmm… where? :lol

:budumdum

Is that to say what I think it is?

I don’t think it is. :lol

He did my least favorite song on the album…but I thought he played it pretty well. I’m just not really into the kid song.

I thought Jason Mraz was great.

I wish he would stop trying to be funny… I fell asleep…

My thoughts exactly, but I knew thats the song NBC would want him to play as its the most “commercial”. Thats the one track I keep skipping over on an album with many other gems.

Yeah… I thought Gee I think I would have choosen an entirely different song to showcase his talent…
I saw Sammy on the Tonight Show and thought the very same thing…
I bet you have to bend a great deal to reach the best exposure… give, give , give…

I thought his banjo playing is excellent, however, his voice… :huh…not so good.

Awwwww, I was really excited all day too :frowning:
O well, Bele will be there, can’t get better then that

I first saw her in Pagosa in 2002 with Darol Anger and Fiddles of Fire, then again last year with Crooked STill. She is VERY good. :flower
