After a one year hiatus, a lot has changed for the six year old RiverCity Bluegrass Festival (www.rivercitybluegrass.com) starting with the name, which is now the RiverCity Music Festival. While remaining true to its bluegrass roots, some added dimensions will make this a more interesting event for a larger number of people. After relocating from the cavernous Convention Center, the Red Lion On The River offers a much homier environment, while at the same time making it possible to offer multiple stages with comfortable seating. The free parking doesn’t hurt. All improving on what was already a very popular and well attended festival.
