Greetings, i read the long confusing camp load in info…my question is where is this farm parking,or do i just show up after 1,wait in line?
Im not stressing on getting a camping spot to the point of anxiety, its my first time,and it already seems stressful just getting to a camping spot,
That read was mind boggling lol…confused on if i need to park,get a lottery number, or just show up,and get a lottery number…my brain hurts…im solo camping in town park

So what day is the earliest i can arrive to set up camp?
Saturday the 13th morning for Zone 1, afternoon for rest. But you won’t need to worry about land rush, if you show up Saturday afternoon’evening, or Sunday. you’ll have plenty to choose from.

Thank you so much for your information being a solo guy I’m sure I can fit into at the venue with some fine folks too see the show without having to lay down a 10 by 10 tarp. Or I can lay down a tarp and gain some friends hahaha. But I appreciate everybody’s info I’ve been to Billy strings renewal and stuff like that. My birthday is the 16th so that would be great to be up there my birthday time
And when you get there maybe Saturday or Sunday or even later, take some time to just walk around the site. I’m sure you may be initially put off at all the tarps seemingly reserving nearly every open space. But talk with everyone you see. Let them know you’re looking for a spot, and very likely someone will pull up a tarp and invite you to set up there! That happened to me and I ended up making one of my best Festivarian friends that I’m still friends with years later!

So people have friends spresd tarps out to save spaces for people that are not even there?
Seems unfair,doesn’t seem like a good vibe type situation,
Venue Tarp Run, and Town Park land rush are two different animals. The venue tarp run happens each day of festival, and like the land rush it isn’t required for a solo attendee. The tarps that are laid out for others are for big camps, that can’t get everyone there for LR. Some of these camps have 50+ people in them, and they fit in much tighter than 20 smaller camps. Plus these big camps will host a variety of public events involving food and or booze, they host live band performances, and they are where 90% of the in camp jams happen. The main reason for a solo person to come early should be to experience the magic of Town Park, that is created by the cameras of TP!
