Radios in Town Park

What are your thoughts on radios being played LATE into the wee hours of the morning? We had some neighbors last year that loved to come in wasted around 2-3am and turn on their bluetooth speaker as loud as it would go. They had about 4-5 songs on repeat and it got old pretty quick. It was always just the couple at their campsite too. I’m all for enjoying yourself and playing live music all night, but a wide open radio on repeat severely got on my nerves. Anyway, looking forward to June.

Bring a good set of earplugs!
Or, just invite them over to your party.
Hey, I had some guy last year come over to my tent and complain that I was smoking a cigar. Yep, where 90% of people were smoking something else. Put out my cigar, offered him a beer. He refused. So I just moved downwind and finished my cigar. Too old to have anyone spoil our party. :cheers

I always sleep with ear plugs, and am always for “calm cool reasoning”, but sometimes the cards are just stacked the way they are …

I think Lucas in the Noob thread got it just right:

“Have fun but not at another’s expense.”

Alternatively: “I’m sorry, but in my Ambien induced state, your bluetooth speaker looked just like a pinata.” :sorry

I’m a big fan of music, just like all of us who come to these things, but I see no reason t play recorded music in the campground. Sure there are a very few exceptions, but those fall apart as soon as someone starts picking. You would be well within your rights to ask them to turn it off.

Hot Sugar I feel the same way. You can pick until the sun comes up, but turn off the damn radio.

ONE MAJOR EXCEPTION: DANCE PARTY USA!!!

That was exactly the exception I was thinking of!

My silicone earplugs work wonders!

And what an exceptional exception it is! :cheers
