Question Re See Tickets transfer of wristbands

I need to sell two Onsite camping passes for Rockygrass (I’ll post them in the ticket exchange once I get an answer to this question).

I’ve done this in the past, and IIRC, there’s a window when See Tickets allows the seller to transfer the wristbands to the buyer so they are mailed directly to the new owner. Does anyone know if that deadline has passed?

We’re definitely past that deadline but if you sell them via CashorTrade, apparently they will transfer them to will call to the name of the buyer on your behalf. I haven’t tested it myself though.

Thanks Wiz. I’m not familiar with “Cash or Trade” you mentioned in your reply. Is that some feature of See Tickets that I haven’t seen on their website (seetickets.us)? I spent forever on that site yesterday looking for help with the issue of ticket resale/transfer and didn’t see anything like that.

I’ve been going to the Planet’s fests since '87, and have done the ticket buy/sell cha-cha many times. It doesn’t seem that See/PB offers the print at home option anymore, so I chose to have the wristbands mailed to me, thinking that would allow me to sell them a few weeks before the festival since I would have them in hand, or could transfer them through See. I missed the transfer deadline, and am now worried the WBs will show up too late for me to find a buyer. Since I don’t live in Denver now, it’s harder to find a buyer near me (I now live in Delta, CO).

Check out cashortrade.com - if you sell them there, I believe they will facilitate a transfer with the Planet Bluegrass box office. Even if you had your wristbands shipped, this transfer would invalidate those wristbands to allow transfer to someone else. @BluegrassGeoff can you please confirm since this is new?

Yes! If you do a partial transfer through Cash or Trade, however many you transfer will be switched to their name at Will Call and the remainder that you are keeping will be mailed to you. Feel free to give us a call at the office if you have any more questions.

Update from See Tickets: I sent them a message yesterday through their customer support asking if I could change my delivery method to print@home or will call. They just answered that they could only change it to will call. In my message I said print@home was my preference. Their answer did not address that, so I assume it’s not an option, at least at this stage of the game. I don’t remember if the print option was available in January, during the original purchase window.
