Propane Fire Pits?

The PB Planetary Codes FAQ states:

“Propane fire pits are allowed as long as they are safely supervised by an adult at all times. Please keep our campgrounds safe so that we can continue to allow this option.“

However the general Camping FAQ states:

“ Unfortunately, fires are not allowed in any campgrounds for everyone’s safety. This includes propane fire pits.”

Which is it?

Propane fire pits are generally OK unless it is an exceptionally high fire danger year.

The Lavern load-in email that went out today specifies no open fires including propane pits - not sure about the other campgrounds but FYI for fellow Lavernians.
