Here’s a leftover recipe that I’m just formulating in my brain at the moment, will try it tomorrow.

Sweet Potatoe S’mores

Leftover sweet potato with cinamon, nutmeg, ginger rolled into small balls and flattened.

Dip the flattened cakes in corn flake, coconut and nut bread crumb mixture

put on a cookie sheet with a mini marshmellow on top of it.

Bake until the marshmellow is golden. This might require a pre-bake of the cakes then top with a marshmellow for a final bake.

Courtney,

What can one do with a tortilla, possibly a corn tortilla, and those leftovers?

Auntie Hope :pickin

Courtney,
Paula Deen had a similar recipe the other day- except she put the marshmallow in the middle… She rolled in coconut.

I saw that - so I modified it s’more style.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Auntie Hope, your scaring me now???

Oh, it’s o.k. little buddie. No need to be scared and no reason not to get a little tipsy on the holiday. Hey, I wasn’t driving… no biggie!

Auntie Hope :pickin

It’s always OK to be a bit tipsy during the holidays, as long as you’re not driving. :thumbsup

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and hope you have a very happy holiday season. :cheers

1 cup milk
2-3 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 slice pumpkin pie

blend
enjoy

I want to try that milkshake, really I do, but I can’t bring myself to putting the pie in the blender - yet.

As for the yam s’mores. After some deliberation, I think a smashed graham cracker and coconut crust would be better, but they were really deliciouso.

:jester

Either you folks guard your recipes like gold, or this bunch doesn’t do much cooking outside of the campground. :lol

I hope everyone had a great Turkey day. :cheers

I have a Top Secret recipe which I use to make White Cheddar mashed potatoes…If I told you the secret…I’d have to kill you!!!

(remember the Flamingo incident??)

Honey Mint Ham:

Glaze a ham with honey and mint leaves (instead of cloves) and bake as usual.

Very tasty! :medal

Curry Cheese Spread

4 little boxes of Kaukauna Soft Cheddar Cheese
2 bottles and part of a leftover bottle of Major Grey’s Chutney
a scoop of garlic, maybe a tablespoon or 2, better if it’s roasted and soft
a ton of curry

Add all into the food processor and blend, then refrigerate. Great to keep around for guests and drive by festivarians.

Recipe?? I usually just get an invite to someone else’s house… and bring the booze… :drunk

I like your style… :cheers

Great! I’ll come to your house next year…
