Picnic tables at Mary E.

Does anyone know if there are picnic tables at the Mary E Illium campground?

Only the ones you bring in with you. It isn’t a normal campground with campsites. It’s what the US Forest calls dispersed camping. The porta potties and water are brought in by Planet Bluegrass just for the festival. Other than that there is nothing there that makes it improved for camping.

Last year a couple of brand new picnic tables were dropped off near our tent on about the second day. We were surprised to see them and don’t know if they will still be there this year. They worked out great for the campers in our area.
