Thought I’d post this pic for my fellow Californians…

This is the view from my office rooftop in Irvine.

Too bad I can’t post the smoke smell that’s permeating the building, too…

Yes, this is the sun…

A friend of mine sent this one to me from her office at Oakley in Lake Forest:

Common sense would say, “Move your car!!”

Dontcha think??

You know…during one of the news casts I saw I did learn one VERY important thing which some may not have known and that is…Even the smallest things can burn!

Uhhhh - I spent 26 years as a a fireman… Common sense tells me that I would want to move my car with me in it !!!

Yikes … very cool

Thanks Gipper!

My sister sent me this link…it is a set of cameras on a cellular tower on Lyons Peak.
I believe it is situated in the Harris fire near San Diego.
It is updated every 2 minutes and has a view in each direction N, S, E., & W.
It is very interesting to watch.
At night it reminds me of looking at the Las Vegas valley only instead of lights it is fire.

And the wind! I saw at least 7 semis laying on their side blow over by the wind…yikes!

As terrible as we all know that was/is, it’s still beautiful.

Thanks Jen!
