No on-site alcohol?

Hi there Festivarians.

Sooo …no alcohol is allowed on the festival grounds? Will they be checking coolers as you enter each day? I was hoping to mix up a batch of daiquiris to enjoy. I know there is a beer tent on site, but I am not a beer drinker.
Any idea why there is no alcohol allowed?

There are plenty of vendors on site with different types of alcohol…not just beer. Yes, your cooler is checked every day. Just buy drinks on site.
