Maybe Avery can bring back the walking keg backpack delivery Sam Adams had years ago.

Avery is an amazing brewery, their line of beers can compete with, and in my opinion exceeds New Belgiums core line. :cheers
To be honest, I’m not the biggest New Belgium fan anymore. I don’t know much about Avery, but I’m excited to check them out.
Avery is based out of Boulder. As far as distribution wise they are nowhere near the size of operation as NB. I’m excited that PB is giving a smaller brewery the chance to be the beer supplier for TBF. Avery’s core line is similar to just about any craft brewery. I know its a longshot, but I’m hoping they’ll have a few options available not from their core line, though their IPA is great, and if your into Brown Ales Ellas Brown is great (me I’m more into “big beers” and double IPA’s, which I’d consider Avery’s Maharaja one of the best Imperial IPA’s. Avery probably isn’t distributed in all states, but I’d imagine they are in most states west of the Mississippi. I’m with you Sugar, totally not a fan of Fat Tire at all, though its one of the greatest names for a craft brew, and over-all New Belgium isn’t my favorite, though I like a lot of the collaborations they do with other brewers. Beer’s a lot like music everyones got their own opinion about what they like and why.
Since we’re on the beer subject, if you are really into brews, craft, homebrew, etc… Bring some of your favorite special beers from your neck of the woods for the Pre festival Beer sharing in TP probably on Tuesday??? I’ve got about 15 bottles of Okie brews aging now, and will pick up a few freshy IPA’s just before fest. Last year we had a pretty awesome selection of beers from all across the country it was quite the epic beer share, hoping for more of the same this year. Maybe we can find a shadier spot than by the bathhouse.

Fat tire is my favorite, but as long as it is not In-Bev or Molson-Coors its all good. I am intrigued about the run a muck, and beer sharing events! :cheers

Fat Tire is okay. I’d never turn my nose up at it, but it’s definitely not my favorite. And I really don’t care for IPAs or Pale Ales at all; I just can’t do hops. In fact, just about anything over a 25 or 30 IBU is too much for me. I much prefer German style beers. I’ll drink Dunkelweizens and bocks all day long.
As someone who doesn’t drink beer, I just want some cider available in the festival!
That would be cool. Keep it local with Stem or Glider. Both of those would be great, but I wonder if there’s any issues with “competition” and having a cider and beer sponsor.

Nope! We’re an acquired taste, but generally maintain an open door policy.
Sugar, Avery’s brown ale is called Ellie’s Brown Ale . It’s pretty good, not sure it’s as good as Moose Drool’s but what is.
Also, Sugar, I also drink a lot of pilsners. Avery has an offering, called Joe’s. Not a huge fan of this compared to some of the west coast pils such as Trumer or Scrimshaw but perhaps that’s because I’ve only had the canned version of Joe’s.
All that said, I think Avery offers more options than New Belgium for the beer fan who isn’t hop-obsessed.
