stupid question…I am about to buy some night grass tickets from someone who has them at will call under their name…can they call and have them changed to my name? before I send them money…thanks!
No they won’t do that, but you could have them meet you at the festival, which is the best idea.

Maybe they can call Planet Bluegrass and have them mail them the hard tickets instead. Otherwise you should not buy them (since they can’t be there in person at will call to make the exchange).

So they can change names on Nightgrass tickets. My buddy who won some NG tickets had a mail mishap and the tickets were sent back to the planet. PB decided they didn’t want to risk shipping the tickets out again this late in the game so they said the tickets could be picked up at will call, since my buddy will be getting in late he asked to have the tickets put under my name and they obliged. It was a 5 minute converstaion that was hassle free…now i just hope when I get up to the will call location for those tickets that they are indeed under my name.

We can change NightGrass Will Call names the same way we can change festival tickets.

Upon my second reading of the post, I realized the original poster was asking if he could send tickets through The Planet, not have The Planet change the name on will call. Now things make sense.
