Thats probably a good guess, and hopefully truth. How awesome a start would that be!!! I’m doubting Billy Strings would play a nightgrass show on thursday just because I’m guessing he’ll be all over the Greensky NG show. I will gladly put my vote in for a Billy Strings firstgrass show!

I’d be pleasantly surprised by a Smokies appearance, but am not crossing my fingers. However, I truly believe that Billy Strings Firstgrass is the appropriate way to start things out, and I am crossing my fingers for that. (As well as a Billy does Doc Watson set in Elks Park).

I wasn’t even thinking about Elks Park yet. Whoa, his Doc sets are killer. He’s pretty great on the Hartford tunes too.

Love the Nightgrass lineup! Great to see our favorites at the Palm as well as inserting the likes of Wood Brothers, I’m With Her into the Sheridan. As much as I’ve always enjoyed the Wednesday YMSB opener at the Conference Center, mixing it up this year feels like the right thing to do. Dierks and the McCoury’s will be great. Notably absent is Billy Strings which I can only hope means he’ll be entertaining us at First Grass. Counting the days…
